First Aid Information

Our first aid team is lead by a qualified duo of first responders, who have years of experience assisting diverse groups with their first aid needs, training volunteers, and responding to emergency situations. Our team is equipped with a variety of supplies from band-aids to an AED. They can be contacted by any member of the staff, or by requesting assistance at the Help Desk. After hours they can be reached by asking the front desk to ring their hotel room.

Life-threatening emergencies always require calling 911. Our team can support a situation until paramedics arrive.

Rill (He/him/they/them)

First Aid Co-Lead

Mx. Rill (He/Him or They/Them) is a queer, Boston based, switch. They are an AFAB, trans/genderqueer, solo poly, relationship anarchist. Rill entered the leather/BDSM scene at age 20, many years ago. They are a member of NELA (Queer and Kinky SIG), TES, and were a founder of MOB (Massachusetts Orgasmic Bitches – Boston’s first and only woman to woman S/M group.) Rill is a retired EMT, and lifeguard. Service boy that they are, they can often be found wearing the sexy neon orange safety monitor vest helping to facilitate your kinky, sexy fun. They also often provide First Aid services for large events, both individually and as a member of Operation Hammond. They teach hands on S/M skills, negotiation, and sacred kink. In other contexts, Rill is sooo close to finishing Master’s degree in applied mathematics.

Amanda is a kinky, polyamorous health and sex educator whose aspirations of becoming a mermaid someday have lead her to pursue lifeguarding. She has been a certified lifeguard for about 15 years, and through that work, has become a First Aid and Basic Life Support instructor. She is really excited to bring these skills to the kink scene to be part of the First Aid team at Tethered Together!
