Our Event Hotel
Tethered Together Event runs all activities at the Doubletree by Hilton Stamford in Stamford, Connecticut. The Doubletree by Hilton Stamford Hotel features 60,000 square feet of dedicated event space just for us and is just a 5 minute walk from the Stamford Train Station which connects to the NYC train system. The nearest airport is White Plains (HPN) Airport which is 8.8 miles away. Other nearby airports include New York La Guardia (LGA) (26.1 miles), Islip (ISP) (29.5 miles), New York JFK (JFK) (31.2 miles) and Newark (EWR) (42 miles) so you’ve got travel choices!
Our convention utilizes 60,000 feet of event space on our own dedicated event floor. There is a restaurant on site and plentiful local dining options in addition to grab-and-go food located within our event spaces just for us.
Room Booking Information
Rooms are available for ticketed attendees only. Please see your registration receipt for room booking details and our online booking link! We will cancel rooms for any legal names we do not recognize as ticketed attendees.
Booking within our room block through our links is the only way to stay at our host hotel. You must hold a ticket prior to booking a room.
Important Room Booking Notes:
- Our host hotel will be private to our group during our event weekend.
- Rooms at our host hotel are subject to a Friday to Monday three night minimum stay with an optional Thursday night pre-event stay available to keep the hotel private to our group during our stay.
- Rooms at our host hotel are in high demand. If you need to book a room, do not wait.
- Room bookings are fully refundable until 30 days pre-event. After that point, they are transferrable to other attendees until 14 days pre-event or subject to a cancellation fee.
- All room cancellations and transfers must be done directly through our host hotel using either your booking receipt or through calling Doubletree reservations.
- If you are looking to book an accessible room, please call Doubletree directly to discuss options!
- Names on rooms much match EXACTLY the legal names of ticketed attendees at the time of booking. The event will be private to our group guests and we may cancel reservations without notice if legal names on rooms do not match legal names of ticketed attendees.
- A credit card will be required at the time of reservation to secure your deposit. Full refunds are available for rooms cancelled more than thirty days prior to the event through the hotel system or a one night fee will apply.
- Direct room transfers to other attendees are available until 14 days pre-event. If you need to find someone to take over your reservation, try our Fetlife or Discord groups.
- Your hotel room booking receipt contains the contact information for making room changes and cancellations. Any cancellations or changes to your reservation must be done through our host hotel directly.
- Group stays may or may not qualify for loyalty program rewards, perks or incentives. If you have questions about this, please contact your programs directly.
