Skyla (She/her)
Skyla (She/her) is your friendly neighborhood mermaid. Throughout her time in the scene, she has been involved with many organizations and events. A common theme of her event planning life, is a love for making people feel included and that they matter. Skyla plans events and engineers learning experiences in her vanilla & kinky life.
She got her start in kinky event planning with the New England Dungeon Society as Secretary and Events Chair for 2 years. She planned parties, workshops, and social outings. One of her favorite roles was running new member orientation, helping people feel welcome and demystifying new situations is what she lives for.
Skyla went on to serve as the Volunteer Coordinator for Dark Odyssey (Summer Camp, Fusion & Winter Fire) and the Ion Coordinator (Fusion and Summer Camp) for 3 years. She redesigned the entire volunteer program from the ground up, laying the groundwork for more appreciation for volunteers, compensation that was equitable, and dynamic spreadsheets to tie it all together. She was a volunteer for Bound in Boston from 2012 - 2018, serving on the staff and consent team for a handful of years. In the con’s final year, Skyla served as the co-producer and programming coordinator. Starting in 2019 she paired up with her dear friend, Ozma to co-engineer Tethered Together.
When she isn’t behind the scenes at events, she enjoys rope (tying and being tied), being a cat lady, reading true-crime novels, dancing (especially with her flow wand), and drinking the largest iced coffee available.
Skyla loves meeting new people, so please introduce yourself if you see her!

Ozma of Oz (She/they)
Ozma, short for Ozma of Oz by L. Frank Baum, is a community organization enthusiast whose adventures in public kink started in the year 2000 when she walked into her first munch. She put pen to waiver just slightly after her 18th birthday and over the years has both observed and participated in the evolution of BDSM in the public eye and open internet with experiences ranging from tearful pride to open horror and back again.
A scientist by trade and helpful facilitator by nature, she discovered a great deal about herself through her involvement in developing and designing kink events. Between her work as the Director of ROPECRAFT Event and Event Engineering duties with Skyla at Tethered Together, she neither leaves her home nor wears pants most days. That suits her just fine as she carefully blends her exciting professional life with the quiet joys of parenthood home in Kansas with her high school sweetheart, L. Frank Baum.
Ozma quietly holds strong convictions about power and the responsibilities that come with leadership and works to uphold those ideals with humility in all of her projects. You’ll often find her in her natural habitat (buried in spreadsheets), listening and learning to more effectively meet the needs of her community, and/or walking quickly holding a hot cup of coffee.
She firmly believes that the practices of kink and involvement in alternative lifestyle communities can enrich our lives and that community is intentional and is worth the work we put into creating inclusive, welcoming, supported and supportive spaces.

Extrovert extraordinaire, She‘s been located in RI since 2015 where she hosts a monthly Pub Night in Providence. She was a long time volunteer for the Fetish Flea and has taught a few classes / workshops including “How to Host an Orgy”.
Sadomasochistic switch at her core, Julie enjoys most things medical including needles and scalpels. She doesn’t actually love rope, so often wonders how she ended up here??! She has a passion for discussing sexuality & non heteronormative relationship styles, hearing new folks origin stories, community building (as the most awkward host ever), and continuous leaning via the Safety Third Method (ask for more info; you’ll love it)!

LqqkOut (He/him)
LqqkOut (he/him) is a queer hacker who’s equally comfortable soldering LED’s, tying a TK, or entertaining a crowd!
He’s been involved in kink for nearly 25 years and started teaching at events across the country in 2006. As a long-time friend and supporter of Tethered Together and Ropecraft, he embodies “other duties as assigned” while also wrangling sound and technology during the event.
Often seen darting between rooms to check microphones, running sound at performances, or quietly queuing up the next banger at play parties, LqqkOut loves contributing to the atmosphere of Tethered Together.
LqqkOut’s vibe matches his Spotify Wrapped: techno slutmode sparkle daddy serving sequins and giving Dr. Frankenstein.

NsV (He/him)
NotsoVanillo is a sadist with a smile. He enjoys rough body play and turning his willing partners into piles of gooey happy awesomeness. When he‘s not beating, he’s eating, and loves to cook for his friends and family. Since 2012, he‘s been on the kinky roller coaster of love hand-in-hand with Skyla. He’s been involved over the years in various organizations and events, and is happy to be helping out Tethered Together as your Registration Guru Extraordinaire!

Parker Ropeboi (They/Them)
Parker RopeBoi is a queer, non-binary rope enthusiast who has presented rope workshops and performances across North America and Europe since 2009. Known for their unique self-suspension techniques, Parker is also a rope tope who appreciates predicaments and organized chaos.
For Parker, rope is a versatile medium for enabling and disabling corporeal possibilities, presenting and overcoming impasses, instigating intense sensations, and suspending bodies in space. As an educator, Parker enjoys breaking down complex scenes and into teachable skills and techniques.
Parker loves creating rope experiences that affirm and attend to each person’s individual body. Parker hosts the monthly event Queer Rope Social in New York City. Instagram: @parkerropeboi

Princess Bran (She/her)
Princess Bran was introduced to the kink world in Rochester NY about 6 years ago. While exploring all the new things she attended a local RopeBite hosted by MsElaine and discovered her love for rope. Rope and rigging has fulfilled her need for a technical aspect of kink. She is fascinated by her new found artistic side. The feel of rope, connection to the other person and rhythmic flow make this one of her favorite past times.
Princess Bran has attended local conferences. Tethered Together 2019 was her first event outside of the Rochester area. Being a very helpful and technical human she has always been willing to help out wherever needed. This year she has taken on a Staff position and more responsibility, so be nice to her! Did we mention she’s an engineer!

Sapeur Jake (He/Him)
Jake is the kind of person you want quietly nearby when things get complicated—in a calm, steady, deeply unflappable way. As TT’s Security Lead, he helps ensure the event runs smoothly and safely, handling the behind-the-scenes details so everyone else can focus on learning, connecting, and enjoying themselves.
Naturally observant and level-headed, Jake is known for staying composed when others might not, communicating clearly, and stepping in only when it truly matters. At 6’4", he has an excellent vantage point—useful for keeping an eye on things without making a fuss about it.
Jake is also Skyla’s giraffe: tall, watchful, quietly protective, and always looking out over the horizon. He may not seek the spotlight, but TT is steadier, calmer, and better with him there.

SnarlinArlin (they/she)
Arlin has been active in the scene since 2015 and they’re as switchy as can be!
They firmly believe that these spaces and events would not happen if there were not people committed to helping make them happen, and they feel very strongly about volunteering and helping things go smoothly. They love working behind the scenes to help events happen and seeing the magic of those who attend, and the special moments that folks create together, or watching someone’s class or scene and the inventiveness that a different perspective or skillset offers. It’s so wonderful to observe, and they feel lucky to be involved in the process.
Arlin loves to tinker and learn new skills. Working with leather is an ever growing passion, and more recently learning to sew is a new joy they’re taking on. They love brewing mead and beer, hiking and playing video games. Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild might be the most perfect game ever, and you can fight them about it. They’ve have been active as a volunteer in many capacities for a variety of cons, doing everything from checking wristbands at doors to DMing and helping out with classes.

Nevada started coming to public events in 2016 and never looked back. Having attended smaller local Upstate NY events for a few years, and having developed a fascination with rope he was invited to attend his first Tethered in 2024 by a staffer. Going to local rope bites never prepared him for the great energy at Tethered. Diving into rope with PrincessBran has been a wild journey of deep subspace moments and painful predicaments.

He enjoys outdoor activities at his rural homestead in the Fingerlakes area of NYS.

Shepherd has been part of set-up, breakdown, and dungeon flip crews since 2017. Quirky, resourceful, and giving, he is not that into rope but is passionate for service and does what he can in an attempt to better your individual fantasies and collective dungeon experiences.
Born at a very young age, as the days went on, he slowly got older and became a member of the Rhode Island community in 2016. Shepherd can be found co-hosting a monthly Pub Night and Safety Third events, executing Stargaze_’s excellently organized visions, and is usually sporting a shiny or unique fanny pack at events.
